The Awards Ceremony for the Italian participants in the CIRCE contest will be held Feb. 21 in Arezzo, Italy, on the occasion of UNESCO Mother Language Day, at the University of Siena’s Pionta Campus, viale L. Cittadini 33. During the event, dedicated to the Italian winners of the writing contest and video contest, the prizes will be officially awarded and the international winners announced.
The initiative will feature students from all over Italy who have given voice to original and meaningful stories on the theme of accentism and language discrimination. It will also be an opportunity to attend a lecture by young linguist and influencer Samuele Brusca, entitled “Every accent matters.”
